Wu Orleans – Volume 1 by Tom Caruana Remix Projects

Rather than spend ages making loads of material and then picking the best bits to make an album I’m reverse engineering this collection. Putting out several volumes (3 or 4?) and then further down the line putting together the best tracks for professional mastering and physical release (should be vinyl, tape & CD).

I have been a massive lover of music from New Orleans for many years, especially funk a la The Meters, Lee Dorsey, Dr John etc. and have been wanting to do something like this for a while.
