Semi Six – Terrible Thing

Semi Six new album Extraordinaire, is filled with jazzy and smoky production from Detroits own: Kay Y, Belve, JPalm and AntBell! He also features Philly’s very own Billie Dave Hart and Allan Moor. E Fav of Detroit’s Clear Soul Forces also makes an appearance on the album.

The Detroit emcee continues to use bar for bar flows and vivid rap imagery in this 12 track LP. Over the years, Semi has been focused on elevating as an artist and MC, and become a rap “extraordinaire”.

Semi kicks off the album release with a music video for the tenth track on Extraordinaire titled “Terrible Thing”. Incorporating the well known slogan “A mind is a terrible thing to waste” from the United Negro College Fund as the hook and the theme over the smoky production from Grand Rapids Rapper/ Producer, Belve. He also use the vocals from the Notorious B.I.G song “Sky’s The Limit” to fill in parts of the hook. The setting is a Detroit public library on Detroit’s west side, adding to the theme of knowledge and Black American literature. Watch Semi spit rounds of fire in his new video “Terrible Thing”.
