  • Bobby J From Rockaway - "Let Me Breathe" (Prod. by Kwame)
Queens rapper Bobby J From Rockaway hilariously skewers fame-chasers and social-media wannabes with this clever new video for “Let Me Breathe,” produced by the legendary Kwame.

The stylish and colorful video was directed by Llama, who you may know for his brilliant work on Bobby’s visuals for, “Walter White.” Whereas that was a take on the popular Breaking Bad character, “Let Me Breathe” brilliantly takes every modern-day cornball to task with great editing and direction.

Of course, some of that direction is guided by Bobby’s own lyrics, which include rewind-worthy lines like, “It’s obvious the weed has probably got you faded/ Heavily intoxicated, brain discombobulated.” This is translated perfectly to the video that stars Bobby as himself, a hard-working artist who clowns a face-tatted, gun-toting phony and an Instagram tryhard.

And yes, again, this track is produced by none other than Kwame. For those unfamiliar, he’s actually a frequent collaborator of Bobby’s; they worked together on the emcee’s great 2018 single, “Hometown.”
  • Bobby J From Rockaway - "Walter White" (Prod. by Statik Selektah)
Bobby J From Rockaway drops the official music video for "Walter White" directed by Llama and produced by Statik Selektah. Beyond the clever wordplay and cultural references, what’s most impressive about Bobby’s raps on here is how he pulls in the listener and walks atop Statik’s keys and drums with such a low-key confidence. His bars are sharp throughout his verses, but it’s the way in which he spits them and ramps up his delivery that makes “Walter White” feel so raw. The visual pays homage to the classic television series, "Breaking Bad," with Bobby dressing up as the show's protagonist, Walter White, in his signature yellow hazmat suit, using a Retro RV as his "lab" to cook up music.
  • Bobby J From Rockaway - "Summer Classics" (Mini Documentary)
Summer Classics is the debut album from Queens, NYC native Bobby J From Rockaway. Boasting production from Hip Hop veterans like Kwame, Statik Selektah, Sway in the Morning’s DJ Wonder, and Jake One and features from lyrical heavyweights like Lil’ Fame and Killah Priest, the album is not only an homage to his hometown of Rockaway Beach but also to classic Hip Hop.

The title is inspired by the “Summer Classic” basketball league that has been a staple of his community for generations. In his own words, Bobby states: “I feel like every rapper wants that one song that dominates the summertime. My goal was to make a project full of those kinds of records. Something you can play from top to bottom while driving with the top down – Summer Classics.”
