• Jazz Jousters podcast #2 by Gadget [ Hip Hop Jazz, Funk & Soul ]
"So we're back with podcast number two of our fortnightly series and now
I have the privilege of hosting this one. I've basically selected a
load of my favorites be them brand new or something previously released
that still tugs a little something within me when I hear them.
this is imy take on what I consider to be some of the best and most
dedicated Jazzhoppers that my ears have been lucky enough to witness." -

like, share and expect many more shows. We've got around 25 to go up
and then we have several new ones mixes and guest shows to come.

Compiled, hosted and mixed by Gadget at the Audio Dojo.

  • "The Sideshow" feat. Ernie Fresh - DJ Shadow
DJ Shadow, widely acknowledged as a crucial figure in the development of
experimental, instrumental hip-hop, has returned with ‘The Mountain
Will Fall’ via Mass Appeal Records [and Believe Digital in France], his
first full length release since 2011. The 12-track album finds DJ Shadow
exploring new realms in addition to the deep samples and kinetic
soundscapes that helped to launch his career 20 years ago. On ‘The
Mountain Will Fall’ he’s shifted further toward original composition, a
vast experimentation of beats and textures, synthesizers and live
instruments including horns and woodwinds. The album features Run The
Jewels, Nils Frahm, Matthew Halsall, Ernie Fresh and more.

DJ Shadow will host two more of his #radioface
Beats 1 shows this summer. His BBC Essential Mix will debut on July 2
and he created a radio station for Pandora, the Producer's Who Inspire
    Him Everyday: pdora.co/25IhBgI

DJ Shadow is embarking on a massive tour this week with recently announced US headlining dates for September and October.

album is available in all formats with artwork designed by Paul Insect
including a gatefold double LP. Order 'The Mountain Will Fall' here: https://DJShadow.lnk.to/TMWFYT
